Good Morning Britain host Kate, 53, has had an extremely tough time of late as her husband Derek Draper, 52, was hospitalised in March after contracting coronavirus and was later put into an induced coma which lasted 13 weeks.
On Wednesday, following her husband waking up from his coma over the weekend, Kate appeared on GMB to speak to Piers, 55, and Susanna Reid, 49, about Derek's health and explained that the father of her kids still has a long road to recovery.
Following the TV appearance, Piers took to his Instagram page to share a sweet snap of him and Kate snapped behind the scenes.
