Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sent a heartfelt message to Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the midfielder secured a permanent transfer from Arsenal to Roma.
Mkhitaryan spent most of last season on loan with the Serie A club, impressing with nine goals and five assists from 22 league games.
Arsenal had hoped to sell the Armenia midfielder to Roma for around £10m, but their hopes were dashed by the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis on the Italian club.
Instead they agreed to terminated Mkhitaryan's contract so he could join the Giallorossi without the Gunners needing to subsidise his salary.
