There’s no shortage of drama on Amazon Freevee’s Neighbours with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elamloglou), Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) all competing for each other's hearts. Melanie has been chasing after Toadie since her return, but he’s ‘happily’ married to Terese who still has her eye on Paul and vice versa. Since Neighbours ’ return to our screens, the big question on Ramsay Street has been what happened to Melanie Pearson who we last saw tie the knot with Toadie in the soap’s 2022 finale? Although Toadie (Ryan Moloney) has moved on with Terese Willis in Mel’s mysterious absence, fans will finally get some answers as actress Lucinda Cowden makes her highly-anticipated comeback. But the actress isn’t too impressed with the soap’s decision to break-up Mel and Toadie. “I was shocked to my socks when I found out,” Lucinda says.

Neighbours fans can officially get excited as some more soap favourites will officially be returning to the revived show, set to premiere later this year. Fans of the long-running Aussie soap were left devastated when it was announced in February 2022 that Neighbours was coming to an end after a 37-year run, with a tear-jerking final episode aired on Channel 5 later that year.

Seven long-time characters are joining Amazon Freevee’s continuation of Australian soap “Neighbours.” The new additions include Annie Jones (as Jane Harris), Rebekah Elmaloglou (as Terese Willis), Georgie Stone (as Mackenzie Hargreaves) and Tim Kano (as Leo Tanaka). All cast members will return as series regulars. Meanwhile, those returning in guest roles are Ian Smith (as Harold Bishop), April Rose Pengilly (as Chloe Brennan) and Melissa Bell (as Lucy Robinson). They will be joined by “Neighbours” stalwarts Stefan Dennis, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney and Jackie Woodburne, who were previously announced.
