Alec Baldwin has shared a video stating that ‘everything is going to be alright’ after Halyna Hutchins’ family slapped him with a lawsuit .The 63-year-old was holding a prop gun on the Rust set when it accidentally went off, fatally shooting the cinematographer.Taking to Instagram shortly after Hutchins’ family announced they are suing him, the 30 Rock actor posted a video on his grid of a sign that read: ‘Everything is going to be alright.’Alongside the upload, he simply tagged: ‘@parrishartmuseum.’Shortly before the post, Hutchins’ family named Baldwin in a wrongful death lawsuit over the incident that led to her death.Attorney Brian Panish, representing the late filmmaker’s husband, Matthew Hutchins, and their son, Andros, held a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday to announce the lawsuit against the star and ‘others who are responsible for safety on the set, and whose reckless behaviour and cost-cutting led to the senseless, tragic death of Halyna Hutchins.’According to Panish, his firm uncovered multiple ‘violations of industry standards’ during an independent investigation.In a video presented on Tuesday at the press conference, the Hutchins’ lawyers alleged that Baldwin had turned down training for the specific kind of gun draw he was filming that day on set.Complaints of a ‘super unsafe’ set made by workers were also referenced, after three alleged unsafe weapons discharges prior to October 21.It was claimed that Baldwin and the Rust production disregarded at least 15 industry standards, including failure to use a replica or rubber prop gun, alleged failure to keep finger off the trigger, and failure to keep all personnel on set a safe distance from the weapon firing area.The suit is asking for unspecified

Alec Baldwin's lawyers released a statement just hours after Halyna Hutchins' estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him and the producers of, calling the «reckless» claims against them as «entirely false.»In a statement to ET, lawyers for Baldwin and the producers named in the lawsuit say Baldwin, Hutchins «and the rest of the crew relied on the statement by the two professionals responsible for checking the gun that it was a 'cold gun' — meaning there is no possibility of a discharge, blank or otherwise.»The lawyers say the protocol «has worked on thousands of films, with millions of discharges, as there has never before been an incident on a set where an actual bullet harmed anyone.» The statement went on to say that «actors should be able to rely on armorers and prop department professionals, as well as assistant directors, rather than deciding on their own when a gun is safe to us.»«Any claim that Alec was reckless is entirely false,» the statement also said.In legal documents, obtained by ET, the Hutchins estate claims in the wrongful death suit that the «defendants had the power to prevent her death if they had only held sacrosanct their duty to protect the safety of every individual on a set where firearms were present instead of cutting corners on safety procedures where human lives were at stake, rushing to stay on schedule and ignoring numerous complaints of safety violations.»Some of the cost-cutting measures the estate claims Baldwin and production undertook included «hiring inexperienced and unqualified armorers or weapons masters, requiring the film’s armorer to split time as assistant props master, establishing and aggressively adhering to unreasonably rushed production schedules, and hiring

Alec Baldwin has been sued by the family of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins for "unlimited damages".The family of Halyna, who died in October 2021, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Alec on Tuesday.It has also been filed against others who were also on the set of the low-budget Western film titled 'Rust'.This comes after the actor accidentally killed her with a prop gun after he fired it at her chest.Alec was holding a revolver on the New Mexico set during filming rehearsals when it fired and killed Hutchins.However, Alec has maintained his stance that it was Halyna herself who asked him to point the gun just off-camera and towards her armpit.This comes after Alec's public Twitter account appears to have been shut down late last year and appeared to be deleted from the social media platform.When searching for the Hollywood star on the micro-blogging site, a message which reads "this account doesn't exist" appears.It comes after Alec gave his first television interview following the shock death of his Rust colleague Halyna Hutchins.During the emotional chat with America's ABC News, Alec became teary-eyed as he spoke in-depth and publicly for the first time about the tragedy that occurred on set on October 21.Since the interview's debut, the star's main Twitter account became inactive days after being interviewed by ABC news TV host George Stephanopoulos.Although Alec's main account has been deleted, a second account, @AlecBaldwin___, remains to be live, with its most recent tweet being from October.During the emotional interview, Alec discussed the tragedy which happened during the filming and included the unfortunate death of American cinematographer Halyna, 42, as she had been tragically shot on set.In the
