Alec Baldwin has shared a video stating that ‘everything is going to be alright’ after Halyna Hutchins’ family slapped him with a lawsuit .The 63-year-old was holding a prop gun on the Rust set when it accidentally went off, fatally shooting the cinematographer.Taking to Instagram shortly after Hutchins’ family announced they are suing him, the 30 Rock actor posted a video on his grid of a sign that read: ‘Everything is going to be alright.’Alongside the upload, he simply tagged: ‘@parrishartmuseum.’Shortly before the post, Hutchins’ family named Baldwin in a wrongful death lawsuit over the incident that led to her death.Attorney Brian Panish, representing the late filmmaker’s husband, Matthew Hutchins, and their son, Andros, held a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday to announce the lawsuit against the star and ‘others who are responsible for safety on the set, and whose reckless behaviour and cost-cutting led to the senseless, tragic death of Halyna Hutchins.’According to Panish, his firm uncovered multiple ‘violations of industry standards’ during an independent investigation.In a video presented on Tuesday at the press conference, the Hutchins’ lawyers alleged that Baldwin had turned down training for the specific kind of gun draw he was filming that day on set.Complaints of a ‘super unsafe’ set made by workers were also referenced, after three alleged unsafe weapons discharges prior to October 21.It was claimed that Baldwin and the Rust production disregarded at least 15 industry standards, including failure to use a replica or rubber prop gun, alleged failure to keep finger off the trigger, and failure to keep all personnel on set a safe distance from the weapon firing area.The suit is asking for unspecified.
