She sings over the chorus: “I know all too well just what you’re like / I don’t want your love, I just wanna fight“.The Isle Of Wight band will release the follow-up to their 2022 self-titled debut album on July 11 on various formats including a limited edition 3D gatefold cream coloured vinyl with a signed photo, picture disc vinyl, standard vinyl, cassette, CD and digitally.

Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music Wet Leg, the British quintet founded by singer-guitarists Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers whose Grammy-winning 2021 single “Chaise Longue” was a rare generation-spanning hit, have announced their second album, “Moisturizer,” will be released on July 11th on Domino. Alongside the album announcement the band have released the first single from the album, “Catch These Fists,” which they performed at an intimate club gig in New York Monday night; the group will also play a club show in Los Angeles on April 8. The new album was produced by Dan Carey, who also helmed their 2022 debut.

No further information has been provided, other than a glass of milk emoji alongside the Instagram post.“Can you catch a medicine ball / Can you catch yourself when you fall / You should be careful, do you catch my drift / Cuz what I really want to know is can you catch these fists,” Chambers sings.

Thania Garcia Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers took home the Ivor Novello award in the coveted songwriter of the year category at the 2023 ceremony on Thursday in London’s Grosvenor House. The event honored 30 music-makers across 14 categories in recognition of songwriting and screen composition. Wet Leg’s self-titled debut album was one of the most-talked-about releases of the last year and earned the indie rockers their first Brit awards and a pair of Grammys. The Ivor judges described Teasdale and Chambers’ writing, citing singles “Wet Dream” and “Chaise Lounge,” as “fresh, unapologetic and direct, with surprising melodies that demand attention.”

Harry Styles were among the stars honoured at this year's Ivor Novello Awards, however both acts failed to attend the ceremony in London on Thursday.
