Almost exactly 20 years after making his debut in the Star Wars universe as young Annakin Skywalker... who would ultimately turn into Darth Vader, Hayden Christensen is making his long-awaited return in Obi-Wan Kenobi.While Jake Lloyd played the nine-year-old Anakin in 1999's Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Christensen played the older Skywalker in 2002's Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and 2005's Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.Now he the 40-year-old actor will return once again as Annakin in Disney Plus' Obi-Wan Kenobi, set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, as Christensen opened up about returning in a new interview with EW.

It’s been 17 years since Hayden Christensen was last seen in a galaxy far, far away, and the Vancouver-born actor recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about returning to his “Star Wars” role of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the upcoming Disney+ series “Obi-Wan Kenobi”.

Apple TV+ has handed a nine-episode series order to Dark Matter, an adaptation of Blake Crouch’s acclaimed sci-fi novel, with Joel Edgerton attached to star and executive produce and author Crouch to serve as writer and showrunner. Matt Tolmach (Jumanji franchise) also will executive produce and Sony Pictures Television will produce for Apple TV+.

Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor has shared how fantasy sometimes bleeds into reality ahead of the release of his new show.The Obi-Wan Kenobi star admitted he finds himself channelling the force when he’s away from filming.The actor was quizzed about it in a recent interview, where he shared the insight.Speaking about his Jedi skills, he also admitted he does sometimes get caught doing this as well.Ewan explained: “I do it with doors!“I like to do that with automatic doors just for my own amusement.“I always do a little Jedi move for the doors and I have occasionally been caught doing it.“You know, like at the supermarket or something when I’m wheeling my trolley out.”The actor went on to explain how he does it for his “own amusement”.He continued: "It's just always for my own [amusement], because it makes me laugh, but occasionally I've been caught doing that, and that's kind of embarrassing."It's difficult not to, isn't it?
