Mia Goth has been accused of mocked an extra on the film MaXXXine following an assault, according to reports.In a new online report, James Hunter has provided updated details regarding Goth, director Ti West and A24 – the studio behind the film – claiming that Goth kicked him in the head while he performed as an extra on the set of the horror film. The lawsuit accuses Goth of battery and A24, Goth and West of wrongful termination after he was let go from set after the alleged incident.Hunter claimed that he informed the film’s second assistant director that Goth almost stepped on him during one scene and in another, he alleges that Goth intentionally kicked him in the head and then “taunted, mocked and belittled him” when he went to use the bathroom.Now, in a new interview with Dread Central, Hunter claims that Goth followed him to the toilet and pushed open the door to the cubicle he was using.

Just as sweetly unsettling as she was in the other two films, now turned ball-stomping survivor she caps the series with another one of horror’s greatest performances.“MaXXXine is far too good to be the end of the story.

Christmas has come early for genre fans this year with the release of MaXXXine, the third and perhaps not-so-final part of a horror trilogy that began in 2022 with X, a splatterfest set in the ’70s porn industry. Mia Goth was director Ti West’s leading lady, playing both Maxine Mink, the leading lady of the skinflick being made (The Farmer’s Daughters), and her crazy old nemesis, Pearl, who most violently objects to the goings on at her and her husband’s respectable Texas farmstead. For the second film, Pearl — a near-instant prequel — Goth resumed the title role, but in the latest, and for now the last, she reverts to Maxine Mink.

As filming on James Gunn‘s “Superman” (formerly “Superman: Legacy”) continues, the writer-director shared to his Threads account a first look at star David Corenswet in costume as the Man of Steel. The first thing fans might notice is the suit is quite dirty and weathered, which suggests Superman will be doing plenty of down and dirty fighting in the movie.

Max announced on Friday that the acclaimed wrestling drama The Iron Claw from Cannes and Sundance prize-winning filmmaker Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) will begin streaming exclusively on the platform through its output deal with distributor A24 on May 10.

Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the film is set to explore Maxine’s journey to fame and success, as well as her attempt to avoid a serial killer attacking people in Hollywood.The film, which has been produced by the studio known for Hereditary and Midsommar, as well as the previous two films in the trilogy, A24.The cast features a number of major Hollywood stars, including The Crown’s Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan and Bobby Cannavale, along with appearances from Lily Collins, Halsey, Kevin Bacon and Giancarlo Esposito.The trilogy has been highly critically acclaimed, with Goth’s performance receiving high praise.

Bale’s monster makes his debut alongside Gyllenhaal’s “The Lost Daughter” Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley as the eponymous bride.

Katcy Stephan David Robert Mitchell’s mysterious new feature film with Bad Robot now has a title and release date. “Flowervale Street,” starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, will be released by Warner Bros. on May 16, 2025 in IMAX.

But when the elderly couple catches their young guests in the act, the cast finds themselves in a desperate fight for their lives.X stars the likes of Nymphomaniac‘s Mia Goth, Wednesday‘s Jenna Ortega, and musician Kid Cudi – real name Scott Mescudi.Martin Henderson (Everest), Pitch Perfect‘s Brittany Snow and Owen Campbell (Conviction) also make up the cast.Goth plays the role of a young woman and an aspiring adult film star called Maxine, as well as an elderly woman named Pearl.

Katcy Stephan The Avenue has landed North American rights to the action comedy “Old Guy,” starring Christoph Waltz, Lucy Liu and Cooper Hoffman. Simon West (“The Expendables 2,” “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” “The Mechanic”) directed the film, while “The Last Son” scribe Greg Johnson penned the script.
