Coatbridge girl creates fun treasure hunt to help kids in the community
A CREATIVE Coatbridge girl has designed a fun treasure hunt to help kids and her community to cope amid lockdown.Ruby Cunningham, from Kirkshaws, created Ruby’s Treasure Trail to ‘bring a smile’ to children and families during their woodland walks near the village.Six-year-old nature loving Ruby, who attends St Timothy’s Primary in Coatbridge, harnessed the help of mum Laura, partner Martin O’Neill and big sister Kiera, 17, to design and laminate clues which they then attached to trees in the woodland near the Monklands canal.And over the past few weeks the local attraction has gained in popularity with both youngsters and the young at heart having taken part in the fairy treasure hunt.Laura told the Advertiser: “Ruby was getting bored with
