Memphis Depay shows off silky skills against locals in Ghana on mud-covered pitch
Barcelona and Netherlands forward, who was eligible to play for Ghana through his father, is currently on holiday in the African nation ahead of his return to Spain for pre-season. Depay regularly visits the country during his time off and leads a number of community projects in Ghana.During his current trip, he has been filmed playing against a group of local youngsters on a grassless pitch at the Madina Astroturf park alongside fellow Dutch international footballer Quincy Promes.In a video uploaded to Twitter by Ghanaian journalist Owuraku Ampofo, Depay and Promes can be seen showing off their skills in front of a pitchside crowd.The pair, who have played together for the Netherlands at youth and senior level, both exhibit classy stepovers, flicks and turns as they keep the ball away from their opponents.Depay headed to Ghana after scoring three goals in three appearances for the Netherlands in the Nations League earlier this month.How far will Barcelona go in next season's Champions League?
