Like looking in a mirror? Syfy’s The Ark tells a story of humans trying to survive in space in an attempt to rebuild their planet — a concept many fans believe sounds eerily similar to that of The CW’s The 100.

The long-in-the works spinoff of The 100 that refused to die for two years is now officially over at the CW.

The 100 is actually coming to an end, but it's going to be pretty hard to stay in denial much longer. Especially considering we now officially have a series finale date.The 100 showrunner Jason Rothenberg tweeted in anticipation of the show's return from a short hiatus that there would be no more breaks in the series seventh and final season.

In addition to that, Rothenberg gave audiences some vague hints about the backdoor prequel pilot to the series which aired earlier this month.“We definitely started the season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field,” said Rothenberg about wrapping up seven seasons.

The 100 is back, but someone is noticeably missing. In the opening moments of tonight's season seven premiere, which picked up right where the season six finale left off, Bellamy (Bob Morley) was dragged away by some invisible force, probably related to the fact that Octavia had just been stabbed and then disappeared from his arms.

The end is near, whether you're ready or not.  The 100's final season premieres tonight, and it picks up pretty much right where the last season left off. So if you haven't yet rewatched the season six finale, now might be the time to do so.
