Hollywood producer has been accused of sex crimes against at least eight women who have made allegations over the last seven years.According to court records seen by the Los Angeles Times, the women claim that Weinberg “lured them to his home often under the guise of a photo shoot, before restraining and sexually assaulting them”.It further claims that the women, who were in their 20s and 30s, were often targeted in coffee shops, supermarkets and a diner close to the producer’s home in Los Angeles.The publication reported on Tuesday evening that Weinberg was being held in lieu of  £4.4m ($5m) bail.Weinberg was previously arrested on July 14 in connection with multiple accounts of sexual assault.Three days after his arrest, it was reported that he was released from jail after posting his £2.8m ($3.2m) bail.A police report said the alleged incidents occurred between 2012 and 2019.However, detectives said they believed there were additional victims that could date back to the early 1990s.Statements from the LAPD also showed that Weinberg had been investigated at least twice before his July arrest.He is credited with writing 20 episodes of the first six series of the hit US sitcom.Throughout his Hollywood career, Weinberg has been nominated for five Emmy Awards. Two of these were for Scrubs, while three were for his work as a writer on Bill Maher’s talk show, Politically Incorrect, which was also nominated for a WGA Award.His other writing and producing credits include Californication, Veronica’s Closet and American Dad.He was married to Hilary Bidwell from 2001 and the couple share three children.She first filed for divorce in 2008 after discovering photographs along with the names and numbers of hundreds of women, as

In his new role, Lappin will help oversee the show’s daily creative direction; his promotion was announced on Tuesday by executive producers Stephen Colbert and Tom Purcell. Lappin was most recently senior supervising producer. As co-executive producer, he’ll be part of a team that also includes co-EPs Denise Rehrig and Tanya Michenvich Bracco. Together, they’re all helping Colbert and Purcell run the ship in the absence of former executive producer Chris Licht, who departed “The Late Show” earlier this year to take over CNN as its CEO.

Rebecca Souw Leonardo DiCaprio could be invited to join the cast of Netflix’s Emmy winning global smash hit “Squid Game” in a future season, series writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk has said. At a Netflix-hosted congratulatory press conference in Seoul on Friday, when asked if any known Hollywood actor would star in “Squid Game” Season 2, Hwang said: “There will be no known Hollywood actor in Season 2. That’s not in the plan and if the stage changes, maybe in Season 3 – but for Season 2, it is still set in Korea. Leonardo DiCaprio did say he’s a big fan of ‘Squid Game,’ so maybe if time or chances allow, we can ask him to join the games.”

Moonhwa Ilbo reported that the second season of the hit Netflix series will implement a new mechanism for the games named Cheol-su, described to be the “boyfriend” of Young-hee, the iconic giant doll used in the ‘Red Light, Green Light’ game in the first season.Moonhwa Ilbo cited the reason behind the introduction of new mechanisms to creator Hwang Dong-hyuk’s resolve to come up with new games for the upcoming season, who was said to have “put a lot of effort” into devising the games and even “struggled” with selecting the final one.Filming for the hit Netflix series’ much-anticipated second season will begin in 2023, according to Moonhwa Ilbo, with an alleged release window for the new season being sometime at the end of 2024.The publication also reported on alleged new details of Squid Game 2, writing that the first season’s main character, Seong Gi-hoon (played by Lee Jung-jae), will continue to be the second season’s primary focus. Moonhwa Ilbo also alleged that the Frontman (played by Lee Byung-hun), as well as Gong Yoo’s cameo character, will be returning to the show.Reportedly, Squid Game 2 will also feature a new roster of characters, seeing as a majority of the participants and cast were killed off in the first season. However, Moonhwa Ilbo reported that actors Jung Ho-yeon (Kang Sae-byeok on the show) and Wi Ha-joon (detective Hwang Jun-ho) may have appearances in the upcoming sequel.Neither Netflix nor representatives from the Squid Game production team have responded to the reports as of writing.The news comes shortly after the show and its cast took home several historic wins at this year’s Emmy Awards, which were held earlier this week on September 12.
