Leonardo DiCaprio ‘could star in Squid Game one day’, says director of Netflix series
msn.comSquid Game has suggested that Leonardo DiCaprio could be a part of the series one day, after the Inception star revealed he’s a huge fan of the show.
Following the premiere of the South Korean drama last year, it went on to receive numerous recognitions, including 14 nominations at the recent Emmy Awards.
With a reality series spin-off also in the works, Squid Game has been renewed for a second season – but director Hwang Dong-hyuk is already thinking about what a third outing could entail, including which big names could join the cast in the years ahead.
While speaking at a press conference after the survival programme scored six Emmy wins, Hwang revealed that DiCaprio has ‘said he is a big fan many times’. ‘Maybe if time allows and if chances allow we should ask him to join the game.
