Rochelle Humes has said "leave Peter Andre alone" following past comments made by Rebekah Vardy which were brought up during the Wagatha Christie trial about his manhood. On the latest episode of This Morning (May 11), Rochelle and her fellow presenter Phillip Schofield discussed the court battle between WAGs Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney which kicked off earlier in the week.Alongside contributors Matthew Wright and Giles Brandreth, the group discussed Rebekah's 2004 News of the World interview in which she previously claimed the Mysterious Girl singer was "hung like a small chipolata".The comments resurfaced due to questions posed by Coleen's barrister David Sherborne during proceedings. On the ITV programme, Rochelle and Phil described speculation about Peter in wake of the comments as "unfair" and asked for him to be "left alone".As Matthew Wright described the headline-making revelations about Peter as a "horrible, horrible, episode", Phil said: "I thought that was really unfair."Revealing she and Phil had discussed it prior to the show, Rochelle added: "We are with you."Phil went on to describe the Wagatha Christie trial as "unseemly".Concluding discussion about the trial, Rochelle said: "We understand the principle of how it started and you can understand how hurtful that is, however, to make it this far, it just seems all a little bit [much]."She later added: "And can we just leave Peter Andre alone?"Questioned about her previous comments about Peter during the trial, Rebekah said she "deeply regretted" the interview and claimed she was "forced into the situation by her ex-husband".She said: "This is something I deeply regret and something that is very much part of my past. Rebekah Vardy claims she was forced to discuss Peter Andre's manhood in old interview
Rebekah Vardy has claimed she was forced to talk about the size of Peter Andre's manhood, during her High Court battle against Coleen Rooney. The model, 40, gave an article to News Of The World in 2004, where she spoke about her alleged sexual encounter with the Mysterious Girl singer. In the article, she claimed Peter was hung like a "miniature chipolata" and made "no attempt" to satisfy her.Vardy also said Andre had shaved all the hair off of his body and drooled like a slobbery dog when they kissed. The headline, which was presented to Vardy in court, read: "Peter’s hung like a small chipolata, shaved, slobbery, lasts five minutes".However, she told the Royal Courts of Justice she now has a 'deep regret' for the article and was forced into doing the story by her ex-husband.The revelations came on Tuesday (May 10) when the so-called 'Wagatha Christie' trial between footballers' wives Vardy and Coleen Rooney kicked off in London.Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen, 36, has accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking stories to the media. It spat began when Coleen hit out at fellow WAG Vardy for allegedly leaking stories to The Sun newspaper in a bombshell Twitter post in October 2019.Vardy has denied all accusations and launched a libel case against Rooney where she claims her former agent, Caroline Watt, may have been responsible for leaking stories from her private Instagram account.Tuesday's court proceedings saw both sides set out their opening statements via their legal representatives, with Rooney's barrister David Sherborne against Vardy's barrister, Hugh Tomlinson QC.Sherborne asked about the story Vardy supplied to News Of The World in 2004 after her sexual encounter with Peter Andre.Sherborne asked Vardy: "Did you think

Rebekah Vardy’s agent ‘not fit to give oral evidence’, court told as preliminary hearing takes place in Wagatha Christie court case
Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy’s ‘Wagatha Christie’ case has taken place today, in which the court was told Vardy’s agent is ‘not fit to give oral evidence’.The pair have been engaged in a libel dispute since Rooney, 36, accused Vardy, 40, of leaking stories she had planted on social media, on an Instagram story viewable only by Vardy’s account in October 2019 after a ‘sting operation’ over several months. Rooney earned the nickname ‘Wagatha Christie’ for her detective skills, but Vardy has always denied that the leaked stories were down to her. A preliminary hearing took place on Wednesday at the High Court in London ahead of the start of the trial next month, which comes after Rooney previously lost a bid to add a claim against Vardy’s agent Caroline Watt to the libel case.Rooney’s lawyers had previously claimed that Vardy had leaked information to The Sun either directly or through Watt ‘acting on her instruction or with her knowing approval’.However, Hugh Tomlinson QC, for Vardy, told the court today that Watt could not give oral evidence. In written arguments, Mr Tomlinson said: ‘The claimant served a witness statement of Caroline Watt with the intention of calling Ms Watt to give oral evidence at the trial.‘The claimant’s solicitors were, however, aware that Ms Watt was in a fragile state and had been expressing serious concerns about giving evidence.’He added that a consultant forensic psychiatrist produced a report which concluded Watt is not fit to provide oral evidence at the High Court trial.‘In these circumstances, it is clear that Ms Watt cannot be called to give evidence,’ he concluded.Rooney’s barrister, David Sherborne argued in written statements: ‘The defendant has serious concerns about the lack of any

Rebekah Vardy denies ‘nasty b****’ text was about Coleen Rooney, court hears at Wagatha Christie hearing
Rebekah Vardy’s lawyers have argued that her text messages calling someone a ‘c***’ and ‘nasty b****’ were not about Coleen Rooney. The pair are preparing to head to court in May after Rooney accused Vardy of selling stories about her to the press in 2019, leading to the infamous saga to be dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’.During Tuesday’s hearing at the High Court, Rooney’s legal team argued text messages sent by Vardy referred to their client as a ‘nasty b***h’, to ‘suck a d**k’ and ‘declared war’. However, on Wednesday, Vardy’s lawyers denied these messages which were sent to her agent Caroline Watt were about Rooney, who she is suing for libel. Vardy’s barrister Hugh Tomlinson QC told the court: ‘This is not a passage about Mrs Rooney, it is a passage about someone else.’ Tomlinson previously told the court that the messages referred to by Rooney’s barrister David Sherborne, which were said to ‘reveal that Mrs Vardy and Ms Watt are responsible for the leaking’, were ‘selective’, and said parts of the exchanges which were left out had ‘precisely the opposite effect’. He added: ‘If one reads these messages in full, what one sees is that Mrs Vardy expresses shock at being accused and she is here communicating with the person that Mr Sherborne says is her co-conspirator.‘These are obviously candid personal messages, and if she was really concerned – “Oh, this is terrible, we have been found out” – then it would have been completely different.’Rooney, 35, is bringing a claim against Watt for misuse of private information and is asking for it to be joined to the libel case involving Vardy, 39. Sherborne told the court that Rooney will be left without ‘vindication’ if Vardy wins the case on the basis that she was not the person
