Love Island presenter Maya Jama has said hosting her first summer edition of the hugely-popular dating series feels “special” but admitted she's feeling the pressure to live up to expectations.The 28 year old broadcaster, who recently shared what she believes is the show's most iconic moment ever, took over the presenting role on the hit ITV dating show from Laura Whitmore for the last winter series in South Africa. Ahead of the show’s return to screens on Monday, June 5, she revealed what it is like being the face of a series which counts famous faces including Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire and Amy Schumer among its fans.

Olly Murs and Louise Redknapp will lead the stars playing at Flackstock festival 2023 in tribute to their late friend Caroline Flack.  Caroline tragically took her own life on February 15, 2020, aged 40. K.J. Yossman “Love Island” has found its new host in broadcaster Maya Jama. Jama, who has presented “Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star” and used to anchor a show for BBC Radio 1, will take over “Love Island” hosting duties early next year when the series returns for its winter edition, set in South Africa. It will be the ninth series of the show. Previous host Laura Whitmore stepped down earlier this year to pursue other projects. Fans had criticized Whitmore for her rare appearances on the reality dating show, although she also hosted spin-off “Love Island: Aftersun.”
