Presenter Aidan Power looks to be the latest to face to leave the Ireland AM studio at Virgin Media.

Carl Mullan has likely been getting used to the early morning rising a lot more recently but not just because he’s co-hosting RTÉ 2FM’s Breakfast but because he recently became a father for the first time.

Dozens of names were being thrown into the ring when it came to who would be in the hot seat alongside Doireann Garrihy on the all-new 2FM Breakfast Show. The new presenters’ identities were more guarded than the Third Secret of Fatima.

Carl Mullan was announced as one of the new Breakfast Show presenters on RTÉ 2FM after months of speculation. The comedian had stepped in when Eoghan McDermott left for a handful of shows, leading fans to believe he would get the permanent position.
