2FM Breakfast show snubbed in IMRO Radio Awards nominations

The annual IMRO Radio Awards are set to take place in the coming weeks and the nominations have been announced. However, there was a massive shock as it appears as though Doireann Garrihy, Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan were snubbed as the new 2FM Breakfast Show didn’t even receive a nomination.

After picking up the award last year, it appeared as though they were on a winning streak. However, with Eoghan McDermott suddenly stepping down from his role the show was left in disarray.

Following months of a revolving door of co-hosts, it was announced there would be a brand new morning show lineup. Doireann was joined by Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan in May.
