Pep Guardiola is in no doubt that "exceptional" Thiago Alcantara would thrive in the Premier League if he completed a move to Liverpool.
The Spanish midfielder was brought through the ranks at Barcelona by Guardiola, who then insisted that Bayern Munich sign the creative talent when he joined them as boss back in 2013.
Seven years on, and having won the Bundesliga in each one of his campaigns in Bavaria, Thiago could be joining Guardiola in the Premier League if rumours of his potential switch to Liverpool are to be believed.
