Ederson was presented with the award on the pitch, alongside Kevin de Bruyne getting the league’s Playmaker of the Year trophy for the second time in three years.
And while Ederson is second choice for his country behind Liverpool ace Alisson, and is also often an anonymous figure when City totally dominate opponents, Guardiola said his contribution is recognised.
