It was announced on Monday night that Aguero would be leaving City after a trophy laden decade in Manchester upon the expiration of his contract this summer.
The Argentine will leave the Etihad as the Blues' record goal scorer and will be honoured with a statue at the stadium along with Vincent Kompany and David Silva.
With Aguero's future now settled, it's understood that City will now step up their plans to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and are confident in landing Europe's most sought after player.
