Gabriel Jesus could operate from a wide position for Manchester City more often to accommodate both him and Sergio Aguero in Pep Guardiola's starting XI.
For most of Jesus' City career, he has had to compete with the club's all-time top goalscorer Aguero for the one central striker position under Guardiola.
However, on six occasions this season, Jesus has played on the left - including four times since the new year - to make room for both senior strikers in Guardiola's squad.
After both players started in the FA Cup win at Sheffield Wednesday, Aguero was preferred at Manchester United at the weekend before being replaced by Jesus.
