Paul O'Grady heartbreakingly predicted his own death but insisted he had 'no fear' about passing away. The iconic broadcaster passed away on Tuesday evening aged 67, after previously saying reaching 60 would 'be amazing'.

Paul had been struck with multiple bouts of ill health over the years, and at the time had experienced two cardiac arrests - one in 2002 and another in 2006.The beloved animal enthusiast admitted to feeling death was trying to catch up with him, but he remained positive about his future.

He previously told The Mirror: "I do count my blessings. I have had two heart attacks, and if I get to 60 that will be amazing.

I don't fear anything nowadays."There has to be an angel out there. They are trying to steer me out of trouble 24 hours a day."On one occasion Paul's heart stopped in an ambulance and he had to be resuscitated and he discussed that experience with the publication.
