At least 45 Parliamentary police have contracted coronavirus prompting a deep clean, according to reports. Those infected are attached to the Met’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection unit, the report said.

The Parliamentary police base has had to undergo a deep clean, according to the Sun. The Met Police told Mirror Online: "Should any officer test positive for Covid they will be told to take appropriate measures and those who have been in contact with them will be swiftly contacted and also advised to act accordingly, in line with Government regulations.
