Parents have been left "in complete chaos" while attempting to access the government's new childcare scheme, a charity has said.
A survey of more than 6.000 parents across England that are eligible for the new funding that sees 15 hours of 'free' childcare for two-year-olds has revealed many are struggling with the scheme, Pregnant Then Screwed announced.
While parents should be able to apply to the scheme since the beginning of the year, a shocking amount are still waiting for a code that provides access.
According to surveyed parents, only 11 per cent have received the code that would allow them to benefit from the scheme in April.
