Luke Littler has revealed that he enjoyed a brief chat with former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The young darts sensation made an impressive debut at the PDC Darts Championships in December and proved his mettle by clinching second place at the famous Alexandra Palace.
Amidst all the buzz around him, he has managed to stay grounded and could even mingle with some of his favourite United stars.
Littler was invited to the club where he played matches against some of United's players. He also crossed paths with Ferguson after being offered tickets to watch a match at Old Trafford. I support United so it was nice to meet my idols at my home club, it was a good day out. I watched them train for a bit but it was raining and I went in when they started doing tactics and all that stuff. "I also met Sir Alex at United vs Spurs a few weeks ago.
