Chloe Madeley and James Haskell's toddler has been rushed to hospital this weekend in what was described as a 'distressing' situation.18-month-old Bodhi spent some time being looked after by medical professionals, Chloe Madeley confirmed as she posted a series of pictures of the little girl lying in her arms in a hospital bed.
The youngster had been suffering from croup in what mum Chloe described as a 'distressing and scary' situation that she needed treatment for.The Mirror reports that Chloe, 36, posted the poignant black-and-white snap on Instagram story along with the caption@ “Bodhi absolutely fine now FYI, she had croup, scary and distressing but dealt with swiftly.” The mum also shared images of her little girl tucking into a packet of crisps, writing: “Long night but she's thrilled about vending machine Quavers for breakfast.” According to the NHS, croup "is a common condition that mainly affects babies' and young children's airways".
The website notes symptoms as: "A barking cough – this may sound like a seal (you can search online to hear examples), a hoarse voice, difficulty breathing and a high pitched, rasping sound when breathing in." James Haskell and Chloe Madeley's relationship came to an end in September last year, although they are still both loving parents to Bodhi.
Chloe - who is the daughter of broadcaster Richard Madeley - insists that their co-parenting situation is going 'really well'.
