Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid clashed with an ITV viewer over Prince Harry's court case.The veteran presenter was branded "pathetic" in a social media exchange after she defended the Duke of Sussex during a segment on the morning TV show.
On Wednesday, 28 February, it was announced that a judge had ruled against Prince Harry, 39, in a case brought by him to the High Court over his personal security.
He lost the case, in which he had challenged a ruling that was made in 2020, but reportedly plans to appeal the decision. Before the ruling, there had been a discussion on ITV's GMB, which included Susanna, 53, and her co-host Richard Madeley, 67.
Susanna spoke up for Prince Harry, saying: "He's always going to be at risk here. I don't understand why he doesn't still have the same level of security." She also said during the debate: "I don't think [the way he withdrew from the Royal Family or his actions] changes in any way the risk to him.
