An ex-club DJ waited outside a supermarket with sweets and chocolate for a 12-year-old boy - only to be arrested instead. Sick Glen Battensbury, 62, had agreed to meet the youngster with a pack of Haribos in exchange for sexual favours outside a Morrisons in York.
However, he was arrested at the scene after it was revealed he had been speaking to a police officer posing as a schoolboy on the internet.
Detectives also found details of a meeting he had set up a few days earlier in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, for sexual activity with someone claiming to be a 15-year-old boy.
Battensby, a former long-serving Leeds club DJ, from Wetherby, North Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to two charges each of attempting to meet a child for sexual activity,
