become increasingly chubby over the past few years. I think it probably started during lockdown when we were only allowed out for one walk a day and became glued to our screens.
He couldn’t even play football and started mainlining junk food.Not that we make a habit of buying it but we always stock up on a few treats for the children’s pudding and something for after school.
I can’t blame our son for comfort eating as I was downing a few glasses of wine most nights, comfort drinking rather than comfort eating.
It’s a habit I have struggled to break since.Now our son is at secondary school, he has one of those lunch cards and, despite our best efforts at persuading him otherwise, doesn’t make very healthy choices.
