Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that Eric Bailly's head injury is "fine" despite the defender going to hospital. Bailly clashed heads with centre back partner Harry Maguire in the 41st minute on United's FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea at Wembley.
The Ivorian initially returned to his feet quickly, but soon stumbled towards the touchline and collapsed. After almost 10 minutes of treatment, Bailly managed to get to his feet to completely get on the pitch but was given an oxygen mask and placed on a trolley to be taken down the tunnel.
He was replaced by striker Anthony Martial, as Solskjaer was forced into a formation change. Solskear said: “Yeah, he’s in hospital going through all the routine checks and protocols, he got a cut in the back
