Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes Amad Diallo will obtain a work permit and link-up with his new Manchester United teammates in January.
United signed the 18-year-old prospect in October for an initial fee of £19million, which could rise to £37million with add-ons, and he is set to complete the move from Atalanta next month.
