Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to have eased the pressure on his shoulders by taking some inspiration from predecessor Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils picked up a much needed 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday. And Solskjaer raised plenty of eyebrows with his selection of Fred and Scott McTominay in midfield, leaving Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek on the bench.

The preferred pair put in excellent performances too, earning high praise from Solskjaer at full time. "Scott and Fred have done brilliant together," Solskjaer said. "They're a great partnership.
