Donny van de Beek has had a tough start to life at Manchester United. The Dutch midfielder has yet to start a Premier League game since his £40million move from Ajax in the summer.
Having featured in just 74 minutes of top flight action, he has had to be patient early on at Old Trafford. Van de Beek has now linked up with the Netherlands national team for the international break hoping to get some more football under his belt prior to his return.
And his national team manager, Frank de Boer, has told him to be patient as he admitted Van de Beek “wants more”. Asked about the midfielder, De Boer said: “Of course I try to give him as much confidence as possible, I also showed that by letting him play against Italy.
