The owner of Championship football club Nottingham Forest has tested positive for coronavirus. Evangelos Marinakis, who also owns Olympiacos, made the announcement in a statement he shared on Instagram.
He told followers he is following the instructions of doctors. The statement read: “The recent virus has visited me and I felt obliged to let the public know. “I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctors’ instructions. “I strongly advise all my fellow citizens to do the same.
I wish all a quick recovery." Followers rushed to wish him a speedy recovery with messages wishing him well. Olympiacos will play Wolverhampton Wanderers behind closed doors in the Europa League on Thursday.
