Norwich have been relegated from the Premier League to the Championship for a record fifth time. The Canaries needed to avoid defeat to West Ham on Saturday afternoon to keep their fight going for at least another week.
But a Michail Antonio quartet of goals confirmed their demotion to the second tier a year after they were promoted having won the Championship.
The Norfolk club now hold the unwanted record for the most relegations from the Premier League - having previously suffered the drop in the 1994/95, 2004/05, 2013/14 and 2015/16 seasons.
Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Crystal Palace have all been reelegated four times since the Premier League was founded in 1991/92.
