The City youngster moved to the German club on a temporary basis this summer, having been on the fringes of the first team at the Etihad Stadium.
While it was anticipated that Doyle would get plenty of minutes in the 2. Bundesliga, as of yet he's not featured for his new club, who sit in sixth in German football's second tier.
However, Walter has insisted that Doyle requires time to settle in and believes his talent will eventually see him break into the team. "His feet are sensational," he told Hamburger Morgenpost
