A new area has been added to England's coronavirus watchlist following a worrying rise in infections. Newark and Sherwood in Nottinghamshire has been deemed an ‘area of concern’ in a new report released by Public Health England.

The figures were released in Public Health England's Covid-19 Weekly Surveillance report. It reveals the areas with the highest current rate of coronavirus transmissions in England.
