Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.
Sure, the world is seemingly falling apart, as a global pandemic still continues to wreak havoc all over the planet. And in the US, we’ve decided to also add a bit of civil unrest and a Presidential Election to the mix, just to spice things up.
But not everyone is hurting right, now, as we’ve seen Netflix reap some major rewards from this new world. And according to one of the executives at the streaming service, things are still looking good through the rest of 2020 and into 2021, as long as productions can start soon, that is.
