BBC presenter Naga Munchetty has delved into her own heart-wrenching experiences of racism in her childhood, including a school friend calling her "P***".

In a special Panorama report, Let's Talk About Race, tonight (March 8) Naga delved into what it was like growing up in south London.Narrating a scene of herself walking through the streets, she says: "I grew up here, my dad was from Mauritius, my mum was from India."The BBC Breakfast presenter reveals her parents, who both worked as nurses, suffered from racist abuse and were called the "P-word".Naga adds: "I've experienced racism too.
