Mum threatens to 'smash neighbour's head in' during furious row over loud music

threatened to smash her neighbour's head in a heated spat over loud music, a court heard. Rebecca Marie Stratford from Swindon, Wiltshire, threatened her neighbour after they reported her to the police for playing music loudly late on the night of February 20.

Earlier in the evening the neighbour had banged on the wall with the hope the 27-year-old would turn the music down, however it just got louder, reports the Swindon Advertiser. READ MORE:Fuming security chase bloke after he steals whole tip jar at strip clubSwindon Magistrates’ Court heard that the neighbour called the police, and at around 1am she received missed calls from Stratford who then banged on the door shouting: "Get your ass out here I’m going to smash my neighbour’s head in."When the neighbour called 999, Stratford, who was under a community order at the time, sent her a message asking her to "stop reporting me".The court also heard that this argument was not the first disagreement between Stratford and her neighbour, and due to the additional needs of one of Stratford's daughters, there is "a lot of shouting" coming from the home.Emma Hillier, defending Stratford, told the court: “She is very remorseful for her actions.

She has various mental health issues herself.”Sentencing, District Judge Joanna Dickens said: “The first thing to say is that offences like this are really frightening.
