A mum who was put in an induced coma after testing positive for coronavirus thought the staff treating her in ICU were aliens when she came round after six days.

Critically ill Ruth Andrew had been told to say her goodbyes over the phone to her husband Craig and children Imogen, 14 and Daniel, 10, after being rushed to hospital struggling to breathe - but couldn’t get through before doctors ventilated her.
