Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Mum bans kids from school until 'Covid is gone' after family struck down by virus

A mum-of-four is refusing to send her kids to school "until Covid is completely gone" as her twin babies have been left "crying and holding their head in pain" since they developed the virus.

Andrea Mason, 32, her son Stuart, 13, and one-year-old twin babies, Khloe and Keeva have all tested positive for coronavirus.

The mum, from Scotland, said she and the twins have been suffering from a horrible cough, sore throat and headache since they contracted the virus.

Only her 14-year-old daughter Coleen is still awaiting results from her Covid test, but Andrea thinks it will be positive, the Daily Record reports.
