A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a pedestrian on a busy Salford road. Emergency services descended on Albion Way after 6.30pm yesterday (August 11).
Greater Manchester Police said the motorbike was heading towards The Crescent when it came off the carriageway. The rider, a 25-year-old man, suffered serious injuries but later died.
A 25-year-old woman who was walking in the area was also hit by the vehicle. GMP says she has suffered serious injuries. Police are now calling for any witnesses to come forward. A spokesperson for GMP said: "At around 6:30pm on Friday, August 11, officers were called to reports of a collision on Albion Way in Salford.
