Motorists have been urged to stay away from an area of Tameside after a crash which left one person in hospital. It followed a smash on the A57 Mottram Moor at Mottram-in-Langdendale on Sunday night.
One person was taken to hospital although their condition was not said to be serious. Roads around the area remain closed tonight and police warned drivers to avoid if possible. Pictures from the scene on social media showed police and the fire service in attendance.
