motor flipped over onto its side amid a heavy thunderstorm. Emergency services have been called to the scene on Queensferry Road after the one car crash shortly after 6pm on Sunday.

It is not currently known whether anyone was injured however a picture from the scene shows the stricken vehicle in the middle of the road.It is understood that motorists travelling both directions are facing heavy delays however police are directing traffic.Local reports claim an ambulance is also in attendance near Clermiston Primary School.Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
