Vicky Phelan has touched down in Ireland and reunited with her family after six long months of not being able to see them while she received treatment in the US.
The CervicalCheck campaigner arrived to a heroes welcome with balloons and banners and was able to meet with family members in a private suite at the airport.
The mum of two was given the all-clear to travel earlier this week and made a special point of signalling out those who had looked after her on her journey home as she revealed that she is currently quarantining in Clare but hopes to get out and about soon.
She also had a special word of thanks to her supporters for keeping her strong when she was feeling homesick over the past few weeks.
