Arsenal could replace Emiliano Martinez with two new goalkeeping options. The Gunners have already spent on Gabriel and brought in Willian on a three-year deal as the board back Mikel Arteta after he led the club to FA Cup glory in August.
Despite the impressive performances of Martinez in the absence of Bernd Leno towards the end of the 2019/20 Premier League season, it was the German who was handed the gloves for their opening day win over Fulham.
His Argentine colleague has since joined Aston Villa for a fee of £20m, which could have given the Gunners enough extra cash to bring in both Runar Alex Runarsson and David Raya.
