Mikel Arteta was proved right after his first-half demand to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Arsenal's win over Newcastle. The Gunners moved into the top half of the Premier League table after beating Steve Bruce's side 3-0, with Aubameyang scoring twice to end his recent dry spell.
But Arsenal had to wait until five minutes after the restart before making the breakthrough, having registered just one shot on target in a goalless first half.
During that opening period, Arteta could be heard barking orders at Aubameyang and Tierney to break forward with more urgency down the left as Newcastle pushed forward.
The manager shouted: "KT, Auba, wait for the second ball and then go..." And he was proved right as Aubameyang fired Arsenal into the lead
