The former Corrie star, 32, has been seen as the BBC1 show’s “number one choice” for several years — but taking to the dance floor is not on her agenda.
Instead, she wants to focus on acting roles in big dramas. That will also disappoint bosses hoping to persuade her to take over from Holly Willoughby as team captain on ITV2 game show Celebrity Juice.
