Proud, who claimed to be an ex-professional footballer in his Twitter bio, replied to one of Owen's tweet with: “Can’t wait to see her getting smashed,” along with laughing emojis and a thumbs up.That triggered the former Liverpool and England striker to respond with: “What a fine example to set from a man in your responsible position.”Others on Twitter also chimed in by slamming Proud for his comments, with one user tweeting: "Nice comment from a fella who works with youths.”Another added: "U18 coach of a girls team too.”Proud has since revealed to The Scottish Sun that he no longer works at the club.
